All
digital images are assessed and optimised for colour balance
and density as standard
Colour photography is a subjective medium and our skilled operators
will aim to produce a neutral print without colour bias. If
you have set up a colour profile to match our output devices
and you do not require your images correcting, please mark your
order clearly "DO NOT OPTIMISE". Optimisation is recommended
for those who require optimum print quality and have not calibrated
to our printing system.
Acceptable
Image Formats / Media
Images
should be supplied as RGB TIF or JPEG files. We accept images
from a variety of media - CD's, DVD's, CompactFlash, Secure
Digital, Memory Stick and Smartmedia cards. Unless
specifically requested, original CD's and DVD's will only be
returned where postal weight and size restrictions allow.
IMPORTANT :
For optimum results it is recommended that all images submitted
for digital printing are saved in the sRGB colour space and
at a resolution on 254ppi (the native resolution of our photographic
printing equipment).
Images
are printed to fill the paper size chosen (by
default), so it is important to select an appropriate
print size that will accomodate your image to avoid cropping.

Non standard print sizes are available, these will be
charged at the next size up. ie. 29"x 7" would be charged as
a 30"x 10". Please indicate clearly any non-standard print sizes
that you require on your order. |
Metallic
Paper
Metallic paper has a metallic 3D appearance, promoting rich
vibrant colours and intense blacks. The metallic effect is particularly
appealing with black and white images or colour images with
high saturation. The paper has exceptional stability and durability.
Prices are the same as standard prints plus 50%. |
Upload
your images via Peak Online or FTP
If
using a Windows based (XP or Vista) PC, you can upload your
images to us via our software Peak
Online. If using a MAC or other operating system, we can
create FTP access for you. Please send us an email requesting
FTP access by clicking here. |
